Our fly fishing is definitely a challenge, but with some skill and the right guide, you could catch a fish of lifetime (in excess of 10lbs!), in a beautiful, wilderness environment.

Fly Fishing Itineraries
Single or multi day fly fishing based out of Queenstown
Great for those with other family members who are not into fishing, as there is lots to do for non-fisherman from a Queenstown hotel. Also great option for our hunters to get a few days of fishing in before their hunt with us.
Single or multi day trips based out of our hunting lodge in Wanaka
Add a day or two of fly fishing after completing your hunt from our Lodge. We have some amazing fishing close by with the area’s best guides.
Overnight backcountry fishing
Travel to a remote location to fish and camp. We recommend this adventure for very active people who want a true wilderness experience and who are happy to hike and camp. Amazing fishing to be had through an authentic New Zealand outdoor experience!
Heli fly fishing
This is the ultimate New Zealand fishing experience! Our chartered helicopter will take you to some pristine wilderness river that would take days to hike into by foot. There are two options for this itinerary:
Option 1: The helicopter will drop you and your party off in the morning and return after your day of fishing. This is the more economical option.
Option 2: Hire the helicopter for a full day, changing locations to hit the best fishing areas across multiple rivers. We can also stop by the ocean to dive for lobster! A picnic lunch is typically included in this plan, where your fresh fish and lobster are cooked on site while enjoying spectacular New Zealand views. This is truly an experience of a lifetime and often described by our clients as “the best day of my life!”
Whatever option you choose, you are guaranteed an amazing day with your guide and maximum fishing time.
